Tell us about your tip jar. What's the story there?
There is no tip jar because the baristas at Fika Coffee don't work for tips, they work for the fair and livable wage we pay them. Surprisingly, in the early days of our opening, customers asked regularly about a tip jar. So, we put one out. But no penny put in our tip jar goes to waste because we're not spending it on ourselves, we're putting it to better use by spending it on others. Every tip you give, we give away to a worthy cause because we believe, when it comes to helping others, even a little goes a long way. Right now, we are finishing up our second tip jar project and we have raised $8,000 for a project in Guatemala.

What's your mission?
"One-Of-A-Kind Wool Products." No two Cate & Levi wool products will ever be the same. Each one is made from reclaimed wool whose colors and textures are individually selected. The wool comes from reclaimed sweaters. Each item is as unique as the child who adopts it. The choice of reclaimed wool reduces demand for new materials that require both water and oil for production.
